The SS27 ready-to-wear season is approaching, and London Fashion Week is gearing up to showcase the latest designs from emerging and established designers alike. As the fashion world prepares for the upcoming season, there are several key events and debuts to look out for.

## New Faces on the Block This season's London Fashion Week will feature a number of new faces, including Swedish designer Petra Fagerström, who will be hosting her debut runway show. Fellow CSM graduate Gui Rosa will also be joining the NEWGEN cohort, while Liza Keane will be one to watch with her upcoming debut catwalk show. Other new designers to look out for include Aletta, now rebranded as A Letter, and Geordie Campbell, a Leeds university menswear graduate who has caught the industry's attention with his 'Queer Boy' graphic tees.

## Returning Rising Stars In addition to the new faces, there are also several returning designers who are still on the rise. Oscar Ouyang will be returning with his third catwalk show, while Paolo Carzana is expected to deliver something special. Other names to note include Francesca Lake, Talia Byre, Charlie Constantinou, Lucila Safdie, and Selasi. E.W.USIE will be hosting appointments across the weekend, and Saul Nash will be curating a three-day pop-up.

## Established Brands and Grand Returns Of course, no London Fashion Week would be complete without the established brands. Burberry is always a highlight of the schedule, but this season it will be joined by McQueen, which is making its grand return to London after 25 years of showing in Paris. Christopher Kane will also be making his debut as creative director of Mulberry, which promises to be a major moment. Other established brands showing in September include Ahluwalia, Chopova Lowena, and Aaron Esh, while KNWLS returns to the London Fashion Week schedule after a two-year hiatus.

## The London Jewellery Scene The London jewellery scene is also carving out a space for itself on the LFW schedule. Two of the current NEWGEN designers are independent jewellers, OCTI and The Ouze, and Dover Street Market will once again host its seasonal jewellery showcase, celebrating emerging jewellery designers. With so much to see and do, this season's London Fashion Week is shaping up to be an exciting and unpredictable event.
