Celebrity Traitors Series 2 Cast Revealed for October 1
The second series of Celebrity Traitors launches on October 1 with 21 celebrities, including James Acaster and Bella Ramsey.

The second series of Celebrity Traitors begins on Thursday 1 October at 20:00 BST on BBC One and iPlayer. Twenty-one celebrities are entering Ardross Castle for the competition, two more than last year, all vying for a prize of up to £100,000 for their chosen charity.
Comedian James Acaster, known for Mock the Week and his Off Menu podcast, joins the cast. Actor Bella Ramsey, 22, is the youngest competitor. Ramsey is famous for playing Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones and Ellie in The Last Of Us. The lineup also includes singer and former Little Mix member Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Hollywood actor Richard E. Grant, and comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
Other participants are actor Julie Hesmondhalgh, who played Hayley Cropper on Coronation Street, broadcaster Maya Jama, and actor Miranda Hart. Professor Hannah Fry, actor and presenter Ross Kemp, musician Sebastian Croft, and actor Sharon Rooney will also compete. Retired boxer and Beta Squad YouTube star King Kenny takes part, as does actor Myha’la, aged 30. Jerry Hall, who has four children with Mick Jagger, and comedian and presenter Joe Lycett complete the roster. James Blunt, known for his humorous social media, is also involved.
Production and filming
The show is filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands with Claudia Winkleman as host. A spin-off series, Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides, accompanies the main show. In the trailer, contestants arrive at a church before travelling to the castle in black cars. Host Claudia Winkleman says ominously: 'Fame won't save them.'
Winkleman expressed excitement about the cast in a BBC press release. 'I couldn't get over it,' she said. 'My bosses had to repeat the names at least three times. We're so lucky they said yes.' She added that she is totally focused on the celebrities while in the castle, glued to the monitors showing their footage throughout the day.
Prize and competition structure
Celebrities compete for a £100,000 charity prize, with the final amount depending on their performance in tasks. The series has been expanded due to the popularity of the first season, featuring an extra episode. The debut episode is an extended 75-minute special.
Executive producer Sarah Fay stated the team aims to innovate with elaborate tasks. 'We're always trying to evolve existing ideas to bring them into a new life or coming up with different cultural references,' Fay explained. The series will air 10 episodes on Thursdays and Fridays throughout October, with the spin-off Uncloaked airing immediately after the main show. The series continues every Thursday and Friday throughout October following the 75-minute debut episode at 20:00 BST on October 1.
