Chopova Lowena Opens First London Store
The fashion label Chopova Lowena has opened its first independent retail space in East London, marking a milestone nearly a decade after its launch.
Chopova Lowena has opened its first owned and operated retail store in Bethnal Green, East London. The opening took place on August 27, nearly ten years after founders Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena launched their cult London label.
The new space, named the Chopova Lowena Clubhouse, features the brand's latest mascot, Petal, who greets visitors. The store's interior design incorporates furniture created in collaboration with David Pringle, light fixtures from Saelia Aparicio, and vases by Alake Shilling. It also continues to explore Emma Chopova's Bulgarian heritage through the inclusion of vintage tapestries and folktale characters.
To mark the opening, the brand has launched a special Clubhouse capsule collection. This collection introduces the Petal mascot on a range of items.

According to a report from Dazed, several other fashion campaigns and launches were announced this week.
JW Anderson launched its Twisted Denim campaign starring actress Dree Hemingway and her partner Nick Delli Santi. The couple is pictured in an entangled embrace, matching the theme of the new denim collection.
Amiri has previewed its Autumn/Winter 2027 campaign, which features the new Biscotto bag. The bag does not officially launch until September 3. The campaign celebrates the spirit of Laurel Canyon and is soundtracked by the band The Hellp.

Danish label Samsøe Samsøe has featured model and TikTok star Madeline Argy in its latest campaign. Argy was photographed in New York by Justin Leveritt. She became the brand's first-ever ambassador last year.
Museum Exhibition
The Victoria & Albert Museum in London will host a major retrospective on Freddie Mercury. The exhibition is scheduled to run from October 2026 to January 2027. The museum has previously held exhibitions on figures like David Bowie and Naomi Campbell.
Dazed also launched its Autumn 2026 issue this week. The issue features North West, Ethel Cain, an exclusive look at the video game GTAVI, and interviews with Rei Kawakubo and the label Matières Fécales.
